“I've used every lubricant out there in hopes of finding the best one to slick up the action on a knife. For the past several years I've found nothing that I've liked better than Miltec-1 and have stood on the Miltec soapbox ever since. Recently after applying some Quick Release to one of my new DA OTF's I found that it functioned 15% quicker and smoother than it did with Miltec. I've since begun to try it on all my custom knives. Being sceptical about yet "another" supposed super lubricant to hit the main-stream knife market I'm still using and looking for something that I DON'T like about this new QR, but I'm afraid there isn't ANYTHING not to like about it. Its lubricity has no equal to anything I've ever used. Please pass me some more Quick Release!”

This stuff is amazing! It really works. I used it on a tight rebuild. Militec didn't help. Removed the Militec and used Quick Release.
The knife worked immediately.

Walt! What is in QUICK RELEASE that makes it work so good on specifically European made knives? For years I have been pulling out my hair on especially Hubertus knives that come right from the manufacturer and I press the button and foof – a the blade stops just short of a lock out. The dreaded dog leg! I see it on knives from Italy and also on the Mikovs from CZ. The worst part of it is if you put machine oil in there the condition gets worse! That’s right! I put in WD40 or any of these synthetic machine oils I offer on my sites into a Euro made knife and it gets even worse. But the QUICK RELEASE does something in there and they’re popping out and locking up like the best cherry picks in the lot.

What does it do? Does it melt away left over buffing compound left over from the manufacture or is it like acid that melts the metal a little bit so it evens out!? Whatever it does this is the greatest stuff ever and I am damn glad you came out with it! Thank you very much.

Having done business with Mr. Fisher since the last Blade Show (about twelve knives), I was confidant that a new knife lube he had developed would work well. As we all have (the same as with sharpening systems!), I've tried them all including being a distributor for one. He was kind enough to send me a couple of bottles to try before it went to the open market. I immediately applied it to one problem knife (an everyday carry knife) that sometimes didn't want to open. Since this application it has not failed to open! Ironically this was a Case Copperlock conversion NOT done by "TANK".
Thanks a million

“It’s all I’ve used for the past 7 years, for oil even on my guns and anywhere else that needs lubricating. It’s the best stuff I have ever used and trust me I have used a bunch of stuff

"The water in the old toilet tank kept running and I saw that the cup that slides up the tube to activate the shut off valve would hang up mid-way and therefore the valve didn't close. Rather than grab a can of W-D40, I went to my desk and brought out the QUICK RELEASE. I squirted a little on a piece of toilet paper and wiped the tube down cleaning and lubricating it at the same time. The paper was covered with residue but the tube was clean and slick as a whistle, which has promoted perfect functioning of the hopper tank mechanism.

Similarly my 15 5/16" MANIAGO would hang up half way out but with a drop of QUICK RELEASE on each side of tang area this 90 year old knife fires like the first day it was made by the golden hands of the MANIAGO artisans."

I run our family farm and have constant need for a sharp blade quickly. I carry a Press Button Invincible that had always been a little lazy, but was subjected to constant chaff and grit in my pocket. At a local knife show last November Walter offered me a few drops of Qwik Release to see if it would cure the problem. I was amazed that I no longer had to clean and oil my knife weekly, the knife fired without fail and produced a resounding 'thwack' every time. I bought a bottle in February and applied it to my whole collection. One knife in particular never locked fully, either open or closed, but to my amazement a liberal treatment had dissolved a century of rust and dirt that inhabited the lock up holes in my blade, and all that crap flowed from its recesses and returned function to that knife also.
Thanks Walter and Tank.

“I tried QUICK RELEASE and it works GREAT, definitely exceeded my expectations, and lots of it in the bottle. I was using hobby oil for toy trains for years, worked well but your stuff is noticeably better. QUICK RELEASE really works!”

Well, I got the Quick Release lube and I'm a total convert. Been away so I didn't have a chance to try it out until today. I had the perfect knife for a test, a modern picklock that was beautiful in every way except that every so often the blade wouldn't fire all the way. I had used Militec on it
before. I put just the smallest amount of your stuff on it (careful to keep it away from the sweet dark horn scales). Now it fires way faster than ever and has never failed to lock up once in like 50 or more firings. I highly recommend this stuff.
Thanks,

DIRECTIONS:

For vintage knives remove any foreign particles
and build up such as lint or foreign matter

Apply a few drops of QUICK RELEASE
the way you would any ordinary oil

Let the magic of QUICK RELEASE coat the metals
by opening and closing three or four times.

For newer knives just apply QUICK RELEASE.

Maintain the performance with a drop or two as needed

QUICK RELEASE is perfect for lubricating any
metal-to-metal surface including guns
!

You will be pleasantly surprised how long QUICK RELEASE stays on metal and will not wipe off
